Terms of Use

These documents cover sonasi-meetings. The studio-wide documents also apply.
1. About these terms
Sonasi AI Studio ("Sonasi", "we", "us") develops applications for macOS, iOS and iPadOS and operates this website. These Terms of Use govern your use of the website and of every Sonasi application, unless a specific application ships its own terms, in which case those terms prevail for that application.
2. Acceptance and eligibility
By installing, opening or continuing to use a Sonasi application, or by using this website, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the apps or the website. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough under the law of your country to enter into a binding agreement, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
3. Licence to use the apps
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use our applications on devices you own or control, for personal or internal business purposes. Applications distributed through the App Store are also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement; these terms supplement it and, where they conflict, Apple's EULA prevails for App Store distribution.
4. What you may not do
You may not resell, rent, sublicense or redistribute our applications, remove or alter proprietary notices, reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive source code except to the extent that mandatory law allows it, circumvent licence checks or usage limits, or use automated means to extract data from our website.
5. Purchases, subscriptions and renewals
Paid applications, subscriptions and in-app purchases are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store, under Apple's terms and using your Apple Account payment method. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can view, change or cancel a subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings; deleting an app does not cancel a subscription.
6. Free trials and usage limits
Some applications include a free tier or trial with limits on usage, such as a number of hours or documents per month. We may change the limits of a free tier for future periods; changes will not reduce a paid entitlement you have already bought for the current billing period.
7. Refunds
Because Apple is the merchant of record, refunds are handled by Apple. Request one through Report a Problem in your Apple Account, or through Apple Support. If Apple declines a refund and you believe the outcome is unfair, write to us and we will review the case and, where appropriate, ask Apple to reconsider.
8. Optional account
Our applications work without an account. You only need a Sonasi account or iCloud sync if you want your data available on more than one Apple device. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity carried out through your account.
9. Your content
Everything you create or import — recordings, transcripts, documents, notes, settings — remains yours. We claim no ownership of it, we do not access it, and we do not use it to train models. Where content is processed by our servers for a feature you have enabled, it is used only to deliver that feature.
10. Third-party AI providers
If you connect an external model provider using your own account and API key, your use of that provider is governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy, and any charges from that provider are your responsibility. Requests are sent from your device to that provider; we are not a party to that relationship and do not control how the provider handles your data.
11. Recording and consent
Some of our applications can record or transcribe audio. Laws about recording conversations differ by country and by state. It is your responsibility to obtain any consent required where you are and where the other participants are before recording.
12. AI output
Model output, including transcripts, summaries and generated text, can be incomplete or wrong. It is not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice. Review the output before relying on it, and do not use it as the sole basis for decisions that have legal or financial consequences.
13. Availability, updates and support
We may add, change or remove features, and may require an update to keep an application working with new operating system versions. We do not promise uninterrupted availability of any online component. Support is provided by email at support@sonasi.app during business days.
14. Intellectual property
The applications, the website, our source code, designs, the name Sonasi and our logos are owned by Sonasi AI Studio and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these terms transfers those rights to you. You may use our name and screenshots for factual reference, such as a review, but not in a way that suggests endorsement.
15. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the applications and website are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions do not allow such exclusions, in which case they apply to you only to the extent permitted.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sonasi is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim relating to an application is limited to the amount you paid for that application in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
17. Termination
You may end this agreement at any time by deleting the applications. We may suspend or terminate your licence if you materially breach these terms, in which case we will tell you why where the law allows. Sections that by their nature should survive — ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — survive termination.
18. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our products or the law change. The effective date at the top of this page always shows the current version. For material changes we will give notice in the application or on this website before they take effect; continuing to use our products after that date means you accept the new terms.
19. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence. We would rather resolve any problem directly: write to support@sonasi.app first, and if that fails, the competent courts of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam have jurisdiction.
